The Visit of the Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury to the Companies Registry

Mr Christopher HUI, the Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury (SFST), paid a visit to the Registry on 8 May 2020. Accompanied by the Registrar of Companies, SFST visited the Document Management Section, the New Companies Section and the Public Search Section, which are responsible for the receipt and dispatch of documents, the incorporation of local companies and the provision of company search services respectively. Colleagues of the Registry also demonstrated to SFST the electronic incorporation of companies and the various functions of the Cyber Search Centre for search of company information. SFST also chatted with colleagues of the Registry to better understand their work conditions and the services which they provide.
