The Visit of the Secretary for the Civil Service to Companies Registry

Mr Joshua LAW, the Secretary for the Civil Service (SCS), paid a visit to the Registry on 15 May 2019. SCS, accompanied by Mrs Suzanna KONG, Principal Assistant Secretary (Staff Relations), first met with Ms Ada CHUNG, Registrar of Companies, and other directorate officers. He then visited the Document Management Section and the New Companies Section, which are responsible, respectively, for the receipt and dispatch of documents and the incorporation of local companies. He also visited the Data Centre, which provides 24-hour system support services. During the visit, SCS exchanged his views with both frontline and backend staff of various sections on their work.

After visiting the Divisions, SCS met staff representatives of various grades at a tea gathering to discuss matters that concern them. He expressed his appreciation for colleagues' efforts and encouraged them to continue to provide efficient and quality services to the community.
