Public should beware fraudulent email purportedly issued by Companies Registry

The Companies Registry today (June 28) alerted members of the public to a fraudulent email purportedly issued by the Registry from the email account "crenq@cr.gov.hk". The email requests the recipient to go through an attached document and make a suggestion on the issues as stated on the document by clicking a hyperlink. The hyperlink and attached document may contain a computer virus.

The Registry has no connection with the fraudulent email and has reported the case to the Police for further investigation. Members of the public are reminded not to open any suspicious emails.

	Chrome On the Page menu, select Zoom, then Larger.
	Firefox On the View menu, select Zoom, then Zoom In. Or you may click on the Menu icon and select + or - to make the text size bigger or smaller.
	Internet Explorer / Edge On the View menu, select Text Size, then Largest. Or you may click on the IE Settings icon, select Zoom, then choose a percentage or click Zoom In.
	Opera On the View menu, select Zoom. Then choose a percentage.
	Safari On the View menu, select Make Text Bigger.
